The ASIWO Manta 2 is best for users who want stronger propulsion, longer playtime, and a faster underwater experience than an entry-level sea scooter. It is suitable for confident swimmers, snorkelers, recreational divers, pool users, and families who want a more powerful underwater scooter.
The Manta 2 is beginner-friendly when used properly, but it is more powerful than the original Manta. First-time users should start in calm water and use the lowest speed mode first. Once you feel comfortable with the pull, balance, and stopping distance, you can gradually move to higher speed modes.
Children can use the Manta 2 only under close adult supervision. Because it has stronger propulsion, younger users should start in a pool or calm shallow water and use the lowest speed mode. A life vest is recommended for added safety. The Manta 2 should not be used by children who cannot swim confidently.
Choose Manta if you want a lighter, easier-to-handle scooter for casual snorkeling, pool fun, and general family use. Choose Manta 2 if you want more power, longer runtime, and faster underwater movement. For users who care more about portability and simple handling, Manta is enough. For users who want stronger performance, Manta 2 is the better choice.
Runtime varies based on speed mode, user weight, water current, water temperature, and continuous use time. High-speed mode consumes much more power, especially in open water or when pulling a heavier user. For longer sessions, use low or medium speed and fully charge the battery before entering the water.
The Manta 2 uses a high-capacity lithium battery, so airline rules may restrict air travel with it. Do not assume it can be carried on board or checked in. Before flying, contact your airline and confirm their lithium battery policy. Remove the battery from the scooter before transport and follow the airline’s instructions.
Check that the battery is charged, installed correctly, and locked in place. Make sure the safety lock is unlocked and both triggers are pressed correctly. Also inspect the propeller area for sand, seaweed, or debris. If the scooter still does not work after basic checks, stop using it and contact ASIWO support.
After each use, especially in saltwater or pool water, rinse the scooter thoroughly with clean fresh water. Clean around the propellers, handles, battery compartment, and charging contacts. Let the scooter and battery dry completely before charging or storage. For long-term storage, remove the battery and store it in a cool dry place with periodic recharging.

I honestly didn't expect a sea scooter to make such a difference for a child this young, but the Asiwo Manta 2 has completely transformed how my 6-year-old son feels in the water.
Before we got it, he was hesitant and anxious: he'd cling to the edge of the pool, refuse to put his face in the water, and get frustrated quickly. Swimming lessons were helping, but progress was slow. The Manta 2 turned the water from something scary into something exciting.
Always with me right beside him, he started by holding on at the lowest speed, just gliding along the surface. Feeling himself move smoothly through the water gave him an instant sense of control and fun, and within a few sessions he was kicking his legs on his own, keeping his body horizontal, and even dipping his face under to look around. The gentle, steady pull helped him understand what a good swimming position actually feels like, something that's hard to explain to a six-year-old with words alone.

After a summer with the Manta 2, he's more relaxed, more willing to try new things in the water, and genuinely asks to go swimming every day. His swimming instructor noticed the improvement too.
One important note for other parents: this is a powerful device designed mainly for older users, so a young child should only use it with an adult right next to them in the water at all times, at the lowest speed, in calm and shallow water. Used that way, it has been an amazing tool for building water confidence.

Spent two days testing the Manta 2 at Porto Pino and Cala Zafferano, in the far south of Sardinia. Really happy with it. Battery lasted around 45 minutes moving between the different speed settings, which was enough for a full session without rushing back to shore. Easy to use straight out of the box, no complicated setup. The wrist strap is a nice touch too — the wind picked up on the second day and it meant I never had to worry about losing the scooter. The action camera mount worked really well for filming snorkelling, stayed steady and let me focus on enjoying the water instead of holding a camera. I received the Manta 2 through a collaboration with Asiwo, including for future projects, and I have to say the team has been serious, quick to answer and easy to deal with from the first message. Would recommend.
It's amazing! I've used them a lot for surface traction. I weigh 83 kg and they pull me through even small waves without any problems. The battery lasts as described, worth every penny. ASIWO is a serious one.
easy to use, long duration battery, support until 40 meters. good product. But I'm not 100% convinced by the battery lock and water proof down to 40m. I've been only down to 13 meters max, and I saw a few drops of water inside.
I am absolutely thrilled with this sea scooter! I can snorkeling along a reef or just having fun in the pool with all my family! It is compact, lightweight. Highly recommended!
